Senior LoanIQ Engineer – NYC Hybrid (Asset Management)

A high-profile, mid-sized Asset Management firm is seeking a Senior LoanIQ Engineer to take ownership of our Finastra LoanIQ (FMS cloud) platform.

This role is critical to supporting front, middle, and back-office functions, ensuring stability, scalability, and seamless integration with other systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead maintenance and administration of LoanIQ (FMS) , including user access and account management.
• Support business users across front, middle, and back-office; resolve issues and manage inquiries.
• Partner with Finastra support on patches, upgrades, and troubleshooting, coordinating UAT across multiple environments (UAT, Pre-PROD, PROD).
• Develop and maintain SQL-based data exchanges and future API integrations with cloud and on-prem systems.
• Collaborate with vendors, Finastra, and internal IT teams to ensure smooth implementations and knowledge transfer.
• Share expertise with IT colleagues, contribute to cross-training, and help design/maintain interfaces to legacy systems.

• Strong, hands-on LoanIQ experience (FMS cloud highly preferred).
• Proficiency with MS SQL and bulk data transfers; experience with APIs and system integrations.
• Solid understanding of LoanIQ’s database schema, batch processes, and issue resolution.
• Financial services background with exposure to lending, capital markets, or market risk (agented/bilateral loans a plus).
• Experience with Finastra DataNet/IBM Cognos reporting tools a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Local to NYC metro area ; must work hybrid onsite 2–3 days per week .
