Asset Management Firm | New York City | Hybrid onsite 2-3 days per week Midtown Manhattan
A mid-sized NYC asset management firm is hiring a Senior Business/Systems Analyst to support its global custody platform.
This is a hands-on role — we're looking for someone who has actually worked inside banking or financial services technology, not someone who has managed projects around it.
You'll gather and document requirements, map current and future-state workflows, write specs and user stories, support UAT, and help troubleshoot production issues. The subject matter centers on custody operations: settlements, corporate actions, reconciliation, and client reporting.
What we need:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4–8 years of banking IT or financial services technology experience with real system-level exposure
- Working knowledge of custody or post-trade operations (settlements, corporate actions, reconciliation, client reporting)
- Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, or user stories and running requirements sessions with business stakeholders
- Comfortable in Agile environments; proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar diagramming tools
- Strong communicator who can work across operations, technology, and vendor teams
- Local to the NYC metro area
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship of any kind
Experience with cross-system integrations, regulatory/compliance requirements for custody, or trade capture and settlement platforms is a plus.
